Today’s health tip is all about protein. Protein is what our bodies need to help our bones and muscles grow healthy. Protein can be found in meat, seafood, and eggs! Protein is pretty common to eat but we need to make sure we’re consuming enough of it.
According to choosemyplate.gov, young children should eat 4 ounces of protein daily! That means a couple eggs, nuts, and some chicken will give you a good amount of protein for the day. Here are some other things you can eat for your daily protein intake:
1 oz cooked fish
2-3 oz lean hamburger meat
1 oz of nuts and seeds
Choose your protein and make sure you get a good amount!
