Today’s fun tip is all about vegetables. While kids are in a constant battle to eat their vegetables, they need them to stay healthy and get them through the day. Pizza and french fries may taste good, they make kids tired and overweight. Most important of all, they don’t contain the nutrients they need, especially as growing children.

Vitamins: Are essential for the normal growth of the body. Many vitamins are essential for various parts of the body like keeping the immune system healthy. The immune system helps fight all the germs inside your body that can get you sick!

A lot of vegetables are rich in different vitamins for different parts of your body. For example, carrots are rich in Vitamin A which helps prevent eye problems! Another example is spinach and peas, which both contain Vitamin B. This vitamin is important to help your body make energy so you can play all day!
